WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA
2016

wreath across america
December 17, 2016

Once again our Wreaths Across America service was a success with over 1700 folks coming out and placing 7,500 wreaths.
Thanks to all of you who either came out or donated to such a wonderful and heart felt service.
Without you it would be difficult to make something like this be possible.
Third year in a row we placed a wreath on every veterans headstone!

Offical Name Change

The Coalition now has a new name.

After 25 years of Honoring Veterans in Northern Nevada, we now have expanded our many services to include ALL of Nevada.

We are offically named The Nevada Veteran's Coalition. As is our new logo above.

We will be transitioning this new name and logo into all of our operations, over the next few months.

On to the next 25 years!

Nevada's Attorney General

attorney general
On Friday, February 5, 2016,
Nevada's Attorney General, Adam Paul Laxalt, met with NVC members, Tom Draughon (NVC Pubic Information Officer) and Jan Hodges (NVC Certified Nevada Veterans Advocate) concerning his Office's ground breaking efforts in providing more legal help to Nevada Veterans and current military personnel.

The Nevada Attorney General's Office of Military Legal Assistance (OMLA) provides pro bono legal assistance and representation to active duty, reserve and National Guard service members in a wide area of civil law matters. The OMLA also currently provides assistance to veterans with wills and powers of attorney. The OMLA is the first ever, attorney general-led program offering our military communities access to pro bono civil legal services.

We, of the NVC, salute you Mr. Laxalt - not only for your Naval Service and serving in Iraq, but for your continued work in supporting Nevada Veterans.

Past, Present and Future.
